I needed the school district to pay for it. You went into the head of the person at the district who could approve it. She had wanted to put him into a class below his grade level and not address the dyslexia. You asked for the best outcome and
talked in her head about waving the white flag, that it would be okay to place him at the other school. Later, the actual meeting didn't take long and she said it was VERY unusual to do this but that she would have the district place him at the special school. Wowza!
