AN UPDATE FROM VENUS

Did I tell you my cat Mickey, the Maine Coon, has gained weight? He’s at least 40 pounds now!. He’s so fat he got caught in his cat door to the outside patio. I had to have a friend help me pull him out by his butt since his butt was in the house. The rest of him was out on the patio.

My theory is that he began eating all the time when I was going through all my health troubles and operations. I think he was worried and so he ate.

now that things have calmed down he’s eating normally again ...however he’s still fat. Big Beautiful Mickey!

"Hi, Venus! I wanted to follow up with you about my "shy" guitar player you checked on last week (#277). There was a band practice a couple of days after I talked with you on the radio (where you had asked him if he was interested in me - he said he might be). I decided to attend and possibly capitalize on you raising questions about me in his head.

He was WAY more attentive than usual, giving me a big hug when I got there, lots of touching while talking to me, and every time I walked out of the studio he'd say "are you leaving?" When I actually was leaving, gave me another big hug. During practice breaks he was also busting out with guitar parts to old songs and leaning in to hear me sing!

It felt like he had really payed attention to the discussion you had with him in his head! And, hearing your insights helped me notice what was happening too. THANK YOU!!"
