He tells his wife, "I've had enough of our families interferring in our lives. Twenty-five years of abuse from them is enough. I don't want to be married to you, anymore."

The husband then grabs their 3 dogs and the cranky parrot and leaves.

'Gretchen' says, 'Harvey' is a brilliant man and very talented. He is also a high functioning Autistic. He sees the world in a different way from most people and has trouble dealing with regular life and with expressing himself.

Gretchen says she loves this man with all her heart. She tells me they have been under pressure and arguing for awhile now and that her husband is right. Both their families are abusive and alcoholic and are always meddling and trying to split them up.

Gretchen knows where he has run to, about an hour away from the cottage where they live. She has driven there and left food for him and a sweet note on the seat of his truck.

"He's not eating unless I leave him food. But, I don't want to scare him off," she says. "If he were to see me, he might run farther away. What should I do?"

She wants to lure him back home but I see him as a ferral cat at the moment, and she has to be careful.

As I look into Harvey I find myself rocking back and forth, back and forth on my blue couch. I mention this and Gretchen says, "Yes, he rocks back and forth when he's upset."

I tell her his mind is going around and around and around and he is angry.

"That's what his mind does," she says, "when something upsets him! Around and around."

I keep rocking and rocking as I repeat to Harvey over and over, 'I love my dogs, I feel good, I'm calm, I love the bird, I love Gretchen, I'm calm, I want to be with Gretchen. Gretchen loves me."

Next, I take Gretchen with me into his head so she can feel what I'm doing.

My advice to her is to keep saying things to him like this as she rocks back and forth. I suggest she leave him food and love notes on the sly but not to alert or alarm him by letting him see her.

Finally, I do some good 'whammy' Mojo energy for both of them and end the session.

Later, I get this email:

"Hi Venus,
Harvey is back home and we are doing great.
He has calmed down and is feeling much better. We are planning a move to Kentucky to get a fresh start and put our family junk behind us.

"I kept doing what you said. Imagining being in his head and comforting him and rocking. Saying he can trust me and I have his back. And telling him we are not going to deal with our abusive families anymore.
I also recorded your Mojo and kept playing it over and over.

"He realized he was angry and upset about our families and how much they have hurt us. He was just fed up with all the emotional turmoil. He came home because he knew he couldn't leave me behind no matter what.

"Him cutting the wedding rings was his way to break the bond between our families and us. My mom bought the original wedding bands instead of letting me and Harvey pick them out. Just some of the controlling behavior to try and upset us, all while trying to look good and helpful.

"We went out this past weekend and bought brand new wedding bands. Getting a fresh new start, it felt so good.
