"Hi Venus, right after the Reading I had with you about Mark, the landscaper I have a crush on, he showed up at my door! In the Reading you saw him coming by to look at the bench he built for me, with a can of polymer in hand. He was thinking he needed to come by and seal it for me, you said. And, that he will continue to make excuses to see me, mainly handyman stuff as a reason to stop by.
I hung up with you, grabbed my purse to run an errand. Opened the garage door and there is Mark's vehicle parked in front of my house!!! I walk over to the front door and he is standing on the porch with a can of polymer and a paint brush waiting for me to answer the door!!!! You could've knocked me over with a feather when he was explaining that he was thinking about the bench and thought he should come by and put a coat of polymer on it for me.
Then he was saying that he will be back to check on things, that if I think the bench needs another coat to just let him know and he will come by to put another coat on for me, to let him know if I have questions about the new gardner, on and on he went, listing reasons he may be stopping by, all "handyman" type stuff. just like you said he would say!
I wanted to let you know that you were so right on in your Reading, down to the can of polymer! (I didn't even know what that stuff was until now). After he left I just sat in my car for a moment, stunned. And laughing too.
