Julie is happily married….but….she has a secret. She’s 50, her husband Kyle is 70…and her Boyfriend is
45.
I’ve rung Julie up today for her Reading with me.
She immediately tells me:
“Venus I have this huge crush on my Latin dance instructor,
Victor!”
She giggles.
“And he has one on me! My husband knows about this crush and he says he's fine with it. But, is he really fine with it and how does Victor truly feel about me?”
I hunt around a bit in the ethers,
find her husband and say ‘Hello’ to him, ask permission to chat and get a ‘sure, OK.’ I look into Kyle with my mind.
I tell Julie, “He talks real fast but has trouble getting his words out right.”
“Yes! That’s my husband
alright!"
“He likes the way you’re all bubbly and getting ‘younger.’ He’s all for this hyper fueled dalliance as long as it doesn’t go beyond flirting.”
Julie is relieved so now it’s back to the main man of the moment.
I find Victor and ask to go into his head and have a chat.
He’s glad to see me and we have a rapid little question and answer session.
I report back to Julie.
“Victor feels he’s doing good works by having little romances with women; he says it’s his job/career to make ladies feel good about themselves. His girlfriend…well, he’s tied to her with what I see as loose white ropes. She’s the stability in his life. She's like the umbrella
handle to his umbrella. He knows he can only go so far with his romances. He’s a good guy and he means well, just don’t expect more than he can give."
Julie says, “Everything you’ve said Venus, is exactly right!”
There’s a pause.
“So, I don’t have to feel guilty then?”
“Your husband is happy, Victor is happy and you’re happy. Everybody’s happy here. I’d say live it up and have a good time!”
UPDATE from Julie five months
later:
"Reporting back on the Reading you gave me. You saw that my dance instructor (a bonafide Latin Lover) and I were having a good old flirt together. Astonishingly, my husband liked that this was going on (as per your visit inside his head). He felt it made me happier and nicer to live with! You saw that even though
my instructor is a certified ladies man (he has a steady girlfriend with whom I am acquainted), his intentions are sincere. He truly believes he is doing his life's work making women feel good about themselves.
"In my case this is true. We have since shared more dances together, and he has given me a cute nickname.
While my husband prefers it when I decide to stay home from Victor's classes, he doesn't mind it when I do go. I have told my husband everything - including the nickname.
"I wouldn't have allowed myself to indulge if I hadn't gotten the Reading with you first. Flirting makes a lady feel young and
beautiful!
