Here's An Example Of An After Life Portrait:Susan's brother died when he was 23. In the 1970's he was the co-pilot on a jumbo jetliner in England. The pilot had a heart attack and the jet went down taking all souls with it. Susan says she has not been at peace ever since her brother died this way...I happened to paint her brother's spirit/essence while at her house. While setting up and painting, I kept getting hot then extremely cold chills over and over because he was right on me! I kept telling Susan things I was hearing from him and she verified them as accurate. The painting shows, not the crash, but his great leap into the fiery Universe at the moment of his death, the leap which he found thrilling. His death was an exhilarating, beautiful and enormously happy experience for him. Her brother put the essence of himself into the portrait so that Susan now has the sense and feel of her brother always being with her. Susan Writes:"Thank you so much, Venus..loved what you did as you were painting and telling me what you saw and heard from my brother; also as you were getting hot & cold! Touched me to pieces. I really have a sense of peace now. Reassuring. I'm seeing even more in the painting, today. There's a bird, did you see it? My brother loved birds. He's flying off into the sunset.
